Instructor: Karen Klee-Atlin (she/her)
Class capacity: 6 participants
Ideal for first-time printmakers and for people who would like to refresh their printmaking skills. Translate your images into black and white using strong composition and the balancing of positive/negative space, and create additional textures through carving. Experience the entire process from transferring your image to a linoleum plate, safely carving, inking, preparing the paper, making a simple jig for your plate, and printing both by hand and by using the press. Participants will walk away with a small edition of linocut prints.
Suitable for all levels, no prior experience is needed.
