Collection: Mary Baranowski-Lowden

Mary Baranowski-Lowden has been working primarily in etching for over thirty years. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in Portugal, England, Cuba, Australia, Scotland, and Taiwan. Her work is held in numerous museum and Canadian corporate collections.

Mary’s recent work is inspired by observations of nature within a small radius of her studio on a pastoral river’s edge. She focuses first on the smaller elements and often combines her imagery through etching and lithography to create a larger vision. Through this process she is composing her personal river diary.
